Where it began (2002)
Oceanic Apparels Private Limited was founded in 2002 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with a simple focus: manufacture quality uniforms for businesses, in-house, and stand behind every order. [PLACEHOLDER: add founder name / founding story here if you wish to include it.]
Building in-house capability
Rather than trade in finished goods, we invested in our own manufacturing. Today we operate a 6,000 sq ft facility in Chennai with 60+ machines and 75+ skilled employees, producing over 10,000 garments a month. That in-house capability is the difference between reselling uniforms and truly making them — it gives us control over fabric, quality and consistency on every order.
Growing across industries
What started focused has grown into ten product categories — school, hospital, industrial, hotel, corporate, college, sports, safety wear, kitchen aprons and accessories. Over the years we have served 300+ clients, building relationships through consistent quality and reliable reorders.
Rooted in the South, serving India
Our home is Chennai, and our established service base spans Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana. From that base we ship bulk uniform orders to businesses across India — manufactured in one place, to one standard, wherever they're needed.
